“Make someone smile whenever you can, you never know the difference you can make at that moment.”
For you, being a care worker isn’t just a job. We understand that you really care about the people you look after. You want to bring a smile to their face and to make their lives a little better by ensuring that they get the highest quality of care. These aren’t ‘shifts’ to you, but real people; someone’s mum; someone’s granddad.
You want regular visits to be able to get to know the people you support and understand how to help them achieve the things that are important to them - whether that’s support maintaining control of their own care or getting out to meet friends at a day centre. You want to help people remain as independent as possible in their own home.
You want a rewarding career where you can make someone’s day. Every day. You are comfortable providing the range of support that the care at home role can involve: from assisting individuals to get up, showered and dressed; to assistance toileting; preparing meals; light household duties; assisting with prescribed medication; and working collaboratively with District Nurses and GP’s as part of a wider care team to ensure your client receives the best care possible.
Even though we know that you’ve not chosen this career for the financial rewards, we believe that taking good care of you enables you to look after your clients well. As a family-run company established 25 years ago we care about supporting you and offer a range of benefits including:

The ideal applicant doesn't necessarily need previous experience. It may be that they have looked after a friend or relative before and now see this as a natural career move. Full training is provided so the criteria that the applicant would need to meet is based on personal qualities, values and abilities. Are you a warm and kind person who can easily engage in conversation? If someone tells you that they're ok, are you able to tell if something is not quite right? You would also be good at multi-tasking, thinking on your feet and must have a good sense of doing the right thing. Does this sound like you?
If you are passionate about providing the highest quality of care and are compassionate, professional and great at keeping confidentiality, we would love you to join our team.
