Duty Manager

39 hours a week (average), worked over 4 or 5 days.

The Banshee Labyrinth, ‘Scotland’s most haunted pub’, is open daily from 7PM until 3AM, and includes three bars, a pool room, cinema and gig room featuring live music four nights a week. It caters mainly to Edinburgh’s rock and metal crowd, as well as hosting private functions and cinema events.
We are looking to hire a duty manager, responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. Responsibilities will include managing the three bars and bar staff, as well as liaising with outside contractors such as door staff and cleaning staff, setting and maintaining high professional standards, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our customers and staff. Further duties will include stock taking, ordering and managing deliveries, record keeping and cash handling.
The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail and a high level of customer service skills.

- Have a up to date Personal Licence
- Be able to work flexible hours.
- Be confident using Microsoft excel/ word
It would help your application if you also
- Have experience with stock taking and placing orders.
- Have experience maintaining a profit and loss sheet.
- Are first aid trained.
- Can provide references.
