Small expanding business, endorsed by the 'Guild of Mater Craftsmen'
is recruiting for the above position.
Top rates of pay available dependant on ability and experience.
A unique job opportunity to make restore high end furniture and carpentry in idyllic Orkney Islands.
The successful candidate must have the following attributes :-
• Experience and knowledge of all type of wood working tools and Machinery
• Be able to interpret sketches & technical drawings and be good at record
keeping with materials & time sheets.
• Work done to high standard with accuracy & precision, maintaining efficiency
and attention to detail
• Must be able to understand English, written and spoken
• A full set of their own hand tools
• An ability to meet deadlines and organise other staff
• Be able to work individually or as part of a team
• Have a full clean driving license
The position is full time, 40 hours per week contract PAYE
Hour of business 8am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday
Overtime may be available
28 days holiday per year pro rata
