I am selling my Piaggio Vespa LX 125 as spares/repair as I have decided to move back to Spain. Overall, it is in fair condition with some marks here and there. It has no crash damage but there are marks from age and being used.
Odometer is in KM’s and reads about 25000 miles. Mechanically, it starts and runs well but there is an issue with it cutting out intermittently. Sometimes (usually after riding for 30mins or so) it will stall and become difficult to start. It will start after trying several times but it’s almost as if it has no spark (or a weak one). When the engine has cooled down it will start up first time without a problem so it does appear to be related to it being warm… As it is an intermittent problem my mechanic has not been able to diagnose it and as a result, I am hoping that the person who buys it, knows more than me about engines!
Ignition coil and spark plug have been changed and has had a full service including a new belt & rear tyre. No other problems apart from what has been mentioned above.
I will include the Tucano Urbano leg cover you can see in the pictures and it has a back box fitted.
MOT until August 2016. Cash on collection from North London (wood green).
