A Modern Apprenticeship is a bridge between the world of education and the world of work. Based in the heart of Burgess Hill, HPC is offering you the opportunity of a four year Apprenticeship spending 4 days a week at college in the first year and 1 day a week for the remaining three years, gaining valuable and nationally recognised qualifications whilst earning a wage and working towards a career. On the job training will give you valuable experience of the daily pressures, standards and practices of working life, handling the tools, equipment and materials you will be using when you’re fully trained and learning key skills such as team working and effective communication.
HPC require an Apprentice Service Engineer for HPC Compressed Air Systems, which supplies innovative Compressed Air Products and system solutions to the UK’s highest quality manufacturing businesses.
Many employees at HPC have followed the apprentice route into Purchasing; Sales; Contracts Management; Service Engineers; Technical Engineers; Electrical Engineers. The list goes on.
HPC have a commitment to ensure that the next generation of engineers are at the cutting edge in terms of technology, expertise and capabilities.
Our successful applicant must be a minimum of 16 years old, and will have achieved / expected grade C or above at GCSE in Maths, English and Science and be able to show good IT skills. They will have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, work and study hard.
