For sale, a 4 voice (LMMM) treble (Musette Tuned), model number 409/2, a rare model and number 2 in the production, could be very rare and sought after.
Selling on behave of a customer.
It has 120 basses, which consist of,
3 rows of bass notes, the outer row being a minor third row, often used in tango?s or minor keys (saves stretching down three buttons in the fundamental row).
A major row, minor row and 7th?s row, doubling up as diminished chords.
It has 58 notes in the treble, ranging from A (an octave lower than a 41 note piano accordion) to G (an octave higher than the high G on a 41 key piano accordion), so that it has just under 5 octave range from the lowest A to the highest G.
It has 5 couplers, these are,
L (Bassoon), LM, Bandoneon (Bassoon and Clarinet), LMMM (Master), MMM (Musette) and M (Clarinet.
It has 5 sets of reeds in the bass, with 1 coupler which switches between upper reeds (high) and master, all reeds sounding.

It weighs 12.1kg, 26.8lbs.
Bass and treble reeds have been re-valved, waxed and tuned to concert pitch (A = 440Hz).
It has also had the bellows re-taped and new gaskets fitted.
It comes with new good quality Italian shoulder straps, back strap, bass strap and bellow straps.
I have also mounted a new shoulder strap bracket on the top of the accordion for a more secure support for when playing the accordion.
The accordion is made by Scandalli, an excellent Italian manufacturer, Circa, early 1950\'s, so it is a quality instrument, using the finest of materials. Treble keyboard buttons and felts have been renewed and levelled and is fast and quiet.
The treble pallets have been re-faced.
I have arranged the white spotted buttons to correspond to D and the A notes.
It has also been serviced with adjustments, replacements and cosmetic touches made where required. The compression is very good, and it also comes with a used ruck sack.
I have kept the price of all my accordions to the absolute minimum. Accordions, by nature, are very complex and have an extraordinary amount of moving parts (the bigger they are, the more work is involved) and therefore consume a vast amount of time in an overhaul to bring them up to a high standard of playability. Please bear this in mind when you consider buying one.

So, if you live in a remote area, providing you have a reliable internet service, you can have lessons from the comfort of your home.
I also teach piano and music theory (up to grade 6), keyboards and bass guitar.
I am prepared to post this accordion at buyer?s own expense. I will give a weight of the accordion for postage purpose; where upon the buyer can arrange a courier to pick it up from my premises. I am prepared to pack the accordion free of charge, but I will not be liable for any damage that might occur in transportation. It is up to the individual whether they insure it or not.
Alternately, I can do the courier arrangements and packing for a flat rate of ?20, not including insurance.
