Papworth Trust is a leading disability charity. Our vision is a world where disabled people are seen for what they can do, and our mission is for disabled people to have equality, choice and independence.
The Volunteering Team is responsible for recruiting, managing and supporting volunteers across the Trust. Our new Volunteer Newsletter acts as a way to keep volunteers up to date and connected to each other and the Trust.
We are looking for someone to take the lead with the newsletter, working closely with our in-house design team to produce quarterly issues. Your role will be supported by the volunteering team and your work will reach over 300 people currently volunteering with the Trust.
Key tasks:
• Writing articles
• Researching and building volunteer case studies
• Sourcing relevant photographs
• Working closely with the in-house design team
• Visiting Centres to explore and report on their latest activities and news.
Personal qualities required:
• A creative personality
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good written skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ideally has the ability to travel independently / full drivers licence (reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed)

We will reimburse volunteers for their reasonable travel expenses. Ideally, we would ask that the volunteer could commit 4 days per month to this role.
