Looking for mother's help in Colwinston

Hi there,

We are looking for a “mother’s help”. We are a couple, with two little girls, just recently turned 1 year and 3 years old. We are looking for someone a few hours a week (details to be decided) to help Mum at home. I would like someone to help with household chores (including ironing and vacuuming) as well as looking after the girls with me at home, and going out together. We are based in Colwinston (between Bridgend and Cowbridge). We will agree an hourly rate with the right person.

We are a gentle family, we do not use punishments; we believe that children should be respected and that they have an emotional life that is not the same as our own. I am breastfeeding both children. We use slings and carriers. We all co-sleep. The person we are looking for, does not necessarily have to have done these things themselves, but should respect and support our decisions. The person will be naturally gentle in their approach to other people. Unfortunately it is not suitable for someone to bring their own child on a regular basis, as some planned activities require 1:1 supervision.

We are looking forward to making a long-term family friend through this process; as such, we are happy to take our time in finding the right fit for our family.
