KITCHEN ASSISTANT/ KITCHEN PORTER REQUIRED AT THE HALF MOON, WINDLESHAM

We are looking for a kitchen assistant/porter to work at this very popular village free house based in Windlesham.

Wages dependent on experience. Please note that the 40 hour week will include some evenings and weekend shifts.

Main Responsibilities
================
Keeping our kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. Keeping the equipment cleaned quickly and ready for our chefs and cooks to use again.
The duties will include:
•unloading and checking deliveries of food to the kitchen
•organising the storeroom
•collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery
•getting pots, pans plates and cutlery back into use as quickly as possible
•washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
•making sure kitchen equipment is properly stored
•removing and recycling waste from the kitchen.
Other duties as required which may include some food preparation and assistance looking after our cellar. Full training will be given.
