Description
Due to continued growth and increasing demand due to continued word of mouth recommendations, a great opportunity to join an established, forward thinking practice in Central Scotland (Stenhousemuir) has arisen.
We are a patient-care centred practice and offer both NHS and Private treatments, including short term orthodontics (Six Month Smiles).
We have a fantastic team who help to put patients at ease and we are known for our ability to calm even the most nervous of patients. We also have an excellent reputation for caring for families and young children.
We have modern technologies in place including Exact by Software of Excellence, Digital X-Ray and Clinipad (which supports electronic signatures and immediately recording medical history updates into the patient record).
Furthermore, we have excellent methods of capturing patient feedback as well as an efficient recall and reminder service.
We are also actively engaged with our local community in a number of ways; supporting partnership working and referral processes to improve the overall health and well-being of our local community.
If you love making people smile through your combined friendly personality, excellent communication skills and ability to provide a high standard of care and treatment to all, we would love to hear from you.
This is a long-term opportunity that involves:
1) Working 2 days per week until January 2017 (Mon/Wed)
2) Providing 6 Months maternity cover on a full-time basis (4 days per week Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri) from
January 2017
3) Working alternating week schedules after the maternity period (week one (2 days) Mon/Wed; Week two (3 days) Mon/Wed/Fri) on a long-term basis with the option to work additional days to cover absences, holiday periods or future maternity if required. There is potential for this to become a steady 3 days per week position for the right candidate.
We will fully support you in building a strong patient list and are in a position to create a small (but with immediate growth potential) list initially.
We do not operate sliding scales for remuneration. We offer a set percentage rate which will be discussed at interview.
Please contact us to register your interest in this position by emailing us your CV and a covering note to outline why you would be the ideal candidate, any existing notice periods and any immediate questions that you have.
We require two references to be available to support your application. We will apply to NHS Forth Valley to provide a list number and they will require recent references to be provided promptly.
This position is available immediately (upon assignation of an NHS Forth Valley list number).
Excellent transport links with easy motorway access from both east and west.
Our hours of operation (from first appointment time) are 08:15 - 18:00 (Mon - Thu) and 08:15 - 17:00 (Fri).
We look forward to hearing from you!
