I bought this bad boy to replace the casual normal sat nav, it just made the car into something it should have come standard in regards to the Golf R's calibre.
This fantastic piece of equipment really gives you an insight into how far sat nav's have actually come with a beautiful full HD 6.1 inch screen guiding you safely to your required destination with a clear large picture of motorway routes and directions shown on the box, with zoom and smart traffic diverting system capabilities + bluetooth instant connectivity for music (with DAB) and phone- its sure one of my favourite things ever to have owned for my golf R!
Comes with facia to help a snug fit for the infotainment screen.
It literally slides into the existing slot.
It's super simple to fit, 2 pins to pull out the original screen, or radio you may have had for the golf R then, switch over the 'plugs' and 'antenna' yourself and your fitted. Its that easy.
