This Peg Dining Chair, from Tom Dixon, was inspired by the quietly paired down character of Japanese architecture.
It can be stacked up to six chairs tall thanks to its functional shape which pays homage to Dutch designer and architect Rietveld.
Its sturdy construction is possible via the turned birch wood legs and the solid laminated birch ply for the seat and backrest.
