Selling my Focus 1.6 Zetec.

The car has 83000 miles and is MOTd until the 8th December 2016. The last MOT had one advisory for a loose heat shield.

Good runner and has been used daily for commuting, but I have bought a Motorcycle (mainly due to the warm weather!) and don't need both.

To save surprises here is an honest appraisal of the car's condition...

- Body work is a bit tatty but sound.

- Engine runs fine but has a rattling tappet. A service *may* sort that, but it does not affect the running at all.

- Gearbox is fine, no problems.

- Clutch squeals a little on release sometimes. Garage informs me it is probably a dry bearing, again does not affect the driveability at all.

- Brakes are fine.

- Interior is pretty much as you would expect from a car of this age, decent and intact but not new!

- It needs new struts for the boot lid and the aircon is not working (it was last year so I am not sure if it just needs a recharge).

- Sometimes the remote central locking plays up, I think it probably needs a new battery in the key, but I am not sure how to change it!

- Wheels and tyres are all good. It had 4 brand new tyres fitted last year.

- Steering etc is all fine.

Would make a great run about for someone. I have used it for commuting each day and holidays to the south west and the lake district a few times and it has never let me down.
